He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Barton and Tracy Thomas (Mike Burdette); his sisters, Betty Morrison, Linda Barker and Pat Reese (Lee); his grandsons, Joshua Barton and Cole Thomas Bullard; his former wife Ann Thomas; and his close friend Big Boy (Roy Wharton).
