He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett G. Cox and Marjorie E. Campbell Cox. He is survived by : his brothers, Jon Cox (Carlene) and Richard Cox (Donna).

A graveside service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen North Cemetery (4800 Emerson Ave, Parkersburg, WV 26104).
