He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Veon and Gay Connolly Veon; his former wife Mary Hershberger Veon; and his daughter Juanita Gay Delancey. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Veon; his children, Darlene Vogelson (Benny), LaVonne Kirby (Dave), Pam Littleton (Lee) and Kevin Veon; and his stepchildren, Serita Wilson (Scott), Nick Deem (Katrina) and Fran Rutter (Marvin). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Free Will Baptist Church (916 Winding Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Freewill Baptist Church (916 Winding Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26104).
