She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Monroe and Ila Leeson Monroe; her husband Kent Corley; her sons, Kent Corley II and John Richard Corley; her grandson Evan Penn; and her siblings, Ralph Monroe, Ed Monroe, Fred Monroe and Gaynell Byrd.

She is survived by: her children, James Andrew "Andy" Corley (Kim) of Washington, WV and Vicki Penn (Chris) of Mineral Wells, WV; and her grandchildren, Logan Penn, Dylan Penn, Drew Corley and Dustin Corley.
