He is survived by: his siblings, Teresa Mays of Parkersburg, Steve Mays (Shelia) of Parkersburg and Danny Ray Mays of Parkersburg; his brother-in-law Bill Backus; his uncle Ralph Morris; his aunt Susie Tucker; his nephew Josh Mays; his great-nephew Hunter; and his close friend Elizabeth "Liz" Fordyce.
