Carol Ann Alkire Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2025, at the age of 79, Carol Ann Alkire (Parkersburg, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Alma Casto Lamp and Wilmer Lamp Jr.; her husband James Rodney Alkire; her siblings, Karen Miller, Mary Rutherford, Buzz and Mike Lamp; her children, Tim Smith and Missy Alman; her daughter-in-law Shelia Smith; and her former husband Mike Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken Smith (Eric Sajovie) of Columbus, OH and Mike Smith Jr. (Julie) of Belmont, WV; her stepchildren, Jennifer Wharton (Alvin), Steve Alkire (Jeanette), Darren Alkire and Kreig Alkire (Theresa); and her brother David Lamp. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
