With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Lee Somerville of Parkersburg, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 65. In the sacred silence of farewell, Brian Lee is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Brian Lee's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Lee Somerville and S. Sue Gum Somerville. He is survived by: his sisters, Cathy (Steve), Lauren (Paul), Beth (Blaine) and Janet (Paul); his caregiver Paula; his extended family, Mary Ann and Donna; and his friends, Clint and John. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; thirteen great-nieces and nephews.

In his giving nature, his final wish was to help others by donating his body for cancer research.
