She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Petty and Murhl Bauman Petty; her husband Bill Houser; her siblings, Elsie Heinsleman and Gene Petty; and her nephew Ted Heinsleman.

She is survived by: her children, David Houser, Kim Snyder (Ross) and Denise Carpenter (Jerry); her brother Marvin Petty (Joan); her sisters-in-law, Becky Petty and Jane Houser; her grandchildren, Kayla Snyder-Umstot (Michael), Kelsey Snyder, Kameron Snyder, Karson Snyder and Jenna Carpenter; and her great grandchildren, Fallon Lindamood, Abram Lindamood and Dior Dunn-Martin. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
