It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Maki (Parkersburg, West Virginia), who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Savalox and Aileen Savalox (Johnson); and her husband Leo Maki of Chassell. She is survived by: her sisters, Mildred Grzelak and Ruth Shephard (Robert); her children, Derek Calomeni (Patricia), Pamela Addis (Glen) and Anthony Calomeni (Amy); her grandchildren, Jake (Deana), Taylor, Johnathon, Sophia and David; and her cousin Keijo Hautamäki (Airi).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (4513 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV 26105).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Vienna, or First Lutheran Church Food Pantry, Parkersburg.
