Ardella Susie Helmick Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ardella Susie Helmick of Parkersburg, West Virginia, born in Ripley, West Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardell Braden and Mattie Maxwell (Braden); her husband Robert Helmick; her siblings, Phyllis, Ronald, Donald, Dorothy and Betty; and her son-in-law David Haynes.

She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth Ann Miller (Roy); her children, Franklin Dines, Angela Delli-Gatti (Casto) and Brandi Haynes (Dines); her stepchildren, Robert Helmick and Angela Graham (Helmick); and her grandchildren, Rashelle Salaita (Delli-Gatti), Alek Delli-Gatti and Breaunna Haynes. She is also survived by her eight step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Since her diagnosis, she was a resident of the Alzheimer's Augusta's Cottage at Stonerise of Parkersburg. The family has chosen the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org) for memorial contributions in her honor.
