She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Ross Hartley and Faye McGlothlin Hartley; her husband Leonard Leroy McKitrick; and her siblings, Herbert Hartley, Martha Rexroad (John), Alice Cunningham (Virgil) and Freda Stephens (Roy).
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Towe (Rick) of Point Pleasant, WV and Charles McKitrick (Melanie) of Huntington, WV; and her grandsons, Mason McKitrick (Burgandy) of Hurricane, WV, Brian Peck (Brittany) of Hilliard, OH, Brad Towe (Charity) of Point Pleasant, WV and Wesley Towe (Sandy) of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (801 Victor St, Belpre, OH 45714). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Love and Care Assisted Living, Washington Bottom United Methodist Church, or Cedar Grove Christian Ministries.
