He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy A. Chapman and Mary M. Baker Chapman; his son-in-law Buddy Hedrick; and his sister Dorothy Golden. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Nesselroad Chapman; his children, Kimberly Hedrick of Virginia, Laurel Chapman (Rob Eltzroth) of Virginia, Amy Diehl (Wesley) of Parkersburg and Brent Conger (Kerry) of Mineral Wells; his sister Kathy Myers of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Chase Conger, Ciara Thomas (Gabe), Mary Nolan (Jordon), Rylan Lewis, Spencer, Colton Hedrick (Summer) and Logan Eltzroth; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Lily Thomas and Rory Nolan.
