He is survived by: his parent Lilah Jane Justice Matney; his children, Johnny Matney (Leenora) of Panther, WV, Ronnie Matney (Sylvia), Wayne Matney Jr. (Amy Mounts) of Ikes Fork, WV, Troy Blankenship of Roderfield, WV, Kimberly Matney Mills (James) of Big Sandy, WV, Michelle Dunn (Ronald) of Princeton, WV and Maxine Collins; his stepchildren, Charlie Blankenship (Trula), James Blankenship, Diana Stevenson, Phyllis Collins, Susie Roberts and Mary Lions; and his close friends, Ethan Dillion Scott of Sanford, NC and Scott McClanahan of Virginia. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
