He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Lane and Lottie McCoy Lane; his siblings, Florence Lane, Roger, Lawrence and Addison Lane; and his grandparents, Ance, Margaret Estep Lane, Willie and Rosa Matney McCoy.
He is survived by: his close friends, Pearl Estep and Benny Blankenship. He is also survived by five nieces, two nephews.
