He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Burks and Sally Lester Burks; and his siblings, Brady, Clell, Gathren, Howard Burks, Dolly, Dora, Vinnie Burks and Arlene.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Collins Burks; and his siblings, Marlene Bailey of Panther, Randall Burks of Wisconsin and Charles Whitt of Chicago. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Estep Cemetery - Greenbrier Greenbrier.
