He was predeceased by: his father Andrew M. Pursley; and his grandparents, Emery McCoy, Ida and Chester Pursley. He is survived by: his mother Joyce McCoy Pursley of Palestine; his siblings, Christy Primm (Harry) and Andrew Martin "Davy" Pursley (Melissa) of Palestine; his half-brother Michael Pursley (Vanessa) of Virginia; his grandmother Betty Pearl McCoy of Palestine; and his pet Pete. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
