With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Gene Knight of Paden City, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 74. Though Robert has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Ray and Marjorie Ann Knight (Dawson); his wife Linda Knight (Headley); his children, Elisha (William Hudson) of Covington, KY and Jeremy Higgins of Ludlow, KY; his grandchildren, Madison Knight of Cincinnati, OH and Cameron Higgins (Siera) of Ludlow, KY; his great grandchild Maeve Higgins; and his siblings, Charles Knight of Wheeling, WV, Melissa Huggins (Bob) of Wileyville, WV and Alice Ryan of Moundsville, WV. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
