He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thurman and Florence E. Duke (Burge); his son Robert D. Duke, Jr.; and his brothers, Don Duke, Frankie Duke and Thurman "Junior" Duke.
He is survived by: his children, David Duke of New Martinsville, WV, Mellissa Slider of Paden City, WV, Christopher Duke (Tiffany Parker) of New Martinsville, WV and John Wayne Pierce of New Martinsville, WV; and his siblings, Sandra Felton of East Liverpool, OH, Linda Morris of New Martinsville, WV, David Duke of Old Hickory, TN, Wayne Duke of Tucson, AZ, Roger Duke of New Martinsville, WV and Michael "Leroy" Duke of Maryland. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jarvis-Williams Funeral Homes (1224 S Bridge St, New Martinsville, WV 26155).
