We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2022, at the age of 89, Phyllis Almeda Thomas of Paden City, West Virginia, born in Sistersville, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ewing and Bessie Tippens (Hoskins); her husband Sheldon Thomas; and her siblings, Ruth Ann Bentley, Betty Hayes, Elmo Tippens, Mike Tippens and John Tippens.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Thomas (Linda) of Cross Junction, VA, Steven Thomas of Paden City, WV, Brian Thomas of Woodstock, GA and Susan Paden (Jim) of Paden City, WV; and her siblings, Jerry Tippens (Dottie) of Lancaster, OH and Rosemary Cherry of Port Jervis, NJ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
