He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Brooks Eugene and June Ruth Potts (Summers); his wife Shela Potts (Pryor); and his children, Larry E. Potts, II (Marianne) of Rogersville, AL, Valorie Mikes (Brian) of Owensboro, KY, Alisha Utt (Rob) of New Martinsville, WV and Vicky Myers (John) of Paden City, WV. He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren and so many great-grandchildren.
