It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Blatt of Paden City, West Virginia, born in Porters Falls, West Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil L. Blatt and Iva Blatt (Snodgrass); his daughter Teresa Martin; and his siblings, Wilbur, Bob, Tom Blatt, Mary Kidder, Dreva Harris, Betty Billiter, Lena Smith and Melva Stroupe.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Blatt (Beagle); his children, Edward Blatt (Brenda) of Culleoka, TN, Steve Blatt of Paden City, WV, Wanda Ferrebee of Paden City, WV, Patti Jobes (Mike) of Paden City, WV and Linda Sweeney (Larry) of Paden City, WV; his siblings, Frank Blatt of Paden City, WV, Bonnie Hizer of Paden City, WV and Phyllis Sonnerburger of Akron, OH; and his pets, Tommy and Sammy. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
