With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cora Ellen Bowers of Paden City, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen E. McKay, and Hope G. McKay, Jr. (Postlethwait); and her siblings, Owen E. McKay III, Thomas J. McKay, Patrick J. McKay, Francis "Frank" L. McKay and Florence Zucker.
She is survived by: her husband R. Scott Bowers; her children, Samantha Meyer (Mark) of Martinsburg, WV, Crissy Mace (Drew Mason) of Paden City, WV and Bobby Bowers, II (Abigail) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Megan Meyer, Hallie Meyer, Will Meyer, John M. Mace, II and Bennett Bowers; and her siblings, Eileen Miller of Scott Depot, WV, Mary Yoho (Tim) of Paden City, WV and Mike McKay of Paden City, WV. She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
