With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Richard Suter Sr. of Paden City, West Virginia, born in New Martinsville, West Virginia, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Suter and Nellie Suter (Smith); and his brother Kenneth Suter. He is survived by: his wife Emma Suter (Thompson); his children, Charles "Rick" Suter, Jr. of Paden City, WV, Patrick Suter of Ohio, Timothy "Booter" Suter of Parkersburg, WV, Teresa Presley (Larry) of New Martinsville, WV, Amy Suter of New Martinsville, WV and Billy Joe Suter of Dayton, OH; and his siblings, Judith Loudin, Jr. (Carlos) of Summersville, WV, Wanda Horner (Lawrence) of Mingo Junction, OH and Alvy E. Suter (Rita) of Anniston, AL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
