She was predeceased by: her parents, Corrine Prenett Varner and James Bayard Varner. She is survived by: her husband Tim Aiken of Sistersville; her children, Rachel Propst (Sam) of Philippi, Michaelyn Schrock (Kenton) of Morgantown, Matthew Kennedy of Nashville and Amy Kennedy of Morgantown; her granddaughter Arden Propst; her siblings, David Varner (Kim) and Abigail Nida (Rusty); and her stepchildren, Allison Carse of Weirton and Matt Carse of Ewa Beach, HI.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
