He is survived by: his wife Clara Deyton of Ovapa, WV; his siblings, Shiela Hamm of Holton, PA, Dorothy Gooslin of Johnson City, TN and Terry Deyton of Mountain City, TN; his niece Barbara "Tiny" Norton of Cleveland, TN; his children, Carol Wilcox (Greg) of Mountain City, Tennessee, Angela Perdue of Elkview, WV, James Deyton (Crisha) of Ovapa, WV and Jeffery Deyton (Stacy) of Ovapa, WV.; his grandchildren, Chrissy McElyea (Craig) of Mountain City, TN, Stephen Perdue (Haydeea) of Elkview, WV, April Danner (Tyler) of Mountain City, TN, Chelsie Moore (Austin) of Chloe, WV, Destiny Noel (Daniel) of Dunbar, WV, Evan Dorsey of Denver, CO, Lillian Asbury (Dillan) of Cross Lanes, WV, Nicholas Deyton of Clay, WV and Zachary Deyton of Clay, WV.; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa McElyea, Hunter McElyea, Macey Parker, Benjamin Noel, Laken Asbury, Josey Church, Chase Moore, Lukas Asbury, Cade Moore, Serenity Morris, Tyler Danner, Harmony Morris and Landon Burgess Asbury.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
