He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Bailey and Lida McCune Bailey; and his siblings, Robert, Donzel Bailey, Betty Bailey and Bernice Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Brannon Bailey; his children, Robin Hayes of Gibsonville, N. C., Larry Bailey of Newton and Bradley Bailey of Chloe; and his sister Mary Butler of Orma. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
