She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Deweese and Maybn Schartiger Deweese; her former husband Virgil Jarvis; her sisters, Berdeal Conley (Bill) and Wilma Blauvelt; her grandson Jeffrey Jarvis; and her sons-in-law, David Johnson and David Laughlin.
She is survived by: her husband James Shields; her children, Tacy Johnson, Tina Jones (Brian) and Jeff Jarvis (Ruth); her stepdaughters, Sharon Postalwait (Randy), Patricia Deweese (Clarence) and Vonda Laughlin; her siblings, Judy Tucker (Ronnie) of Parkersburg, WV, Joyce Sue Blauvelt of Minnora, WV, Jill Metz (Roger) of Minnora, WV, Ronnie Deweese (Rhonda), Rick Deweese (Vickie), David Deweese and Clarence Deweese (Trish); her grandchildren, Todd Jarvis (Aletha), Eric Ray Jones, Marica Knicely (James), Cameron Jones (Rebicca), Christy Jarvis (Jeremy), Nicole Nichols (Josh), Miranda, Becky, David and Daniel Laughlin; and her siblings, Jamie Deweese and Kevin Deweese. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
