It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Neil Thomas McPherson of Orlando, West Virginia, born in Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Franklin Venable and Thomas A. "Tom" McPherson. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry McPherson of Orlando, WV and Kathy Venable Cummings (George) of Luray, VA.; his pets, Sweetie and Peanut; his sisters, Lindsay Raeburn (Brett) and Marisa Cummings; his niece Lennon Cummings; his nephew Porter Raeburn; and his grandmothers, Louise Fultz and Mary Lee McPherson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Tom McPherson Athletic Scholarship Fund at Glenville State University or simply check in with a friend regarding their mental health.
