It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Cook Sr. of Omar, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacey Cook and Betty Ruggles (Carl); his wife Flossie Mae Cook (Johnson); his children, Christina Dawn Whitt (Cook) and Andrew Edward Cook (Sharon); and his siblings, Charles, Jim "Sandman" Moore, Roberta Moore and Margorie Myrtle Moore.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Donna Trent (Hughes); his sons, Earl Lee Cook, Jr. and Michael Hughes; his grandchildren, Kalen Cantrell (Todd), Kirsten Hughes, Michael Ward (Angela), Noah Cook (Breanna), Dustin Earl Whitt, Preston Hughes and Brantley Hughes; and his siblings, Danny Moore (Ruthie), Carl "Stroker" Yowler, Casey "Edge" Ruggles and Shirley Diana Ruggles (Charlie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
