It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrell Tomblin of Omar, West Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Tomblin and Elizabeth Tomblin (Meadows); his siblings, Bill Tomblin and Faye McCoy; and his granddaughter Taylor Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Dee Tomblin, Darren Tomblin, Chasity Meade (Jimmy), April Tomblin and Raya Tomblin; and his siblings, Bobby Tomblin, Mike Tomblin (Liz), Trish Gower (John), Donetta Diamond (Jimmy), Mary Roop, Verna Diamond, Pam Hapney (Steve) and Kim Diamond (Joe). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (5452 Jerry W Hwy, Switzer, WV 25647). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
