She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brant Smith and Ollie Elizabeth Smith; her husband Brown Mathias; and her daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Taylor. She is survived by: her sons, Steve Davey of Mt. Olive, WV and Richard Davey of Petersburg, WV; and her siblings, Betty Hartman of Petersburg, WV, Linda Moyers of Moorefield, WV, Barbara Smith of Moorefield, WV, Jack Smith of Moorefield, WV and Ray Smith of Moorefield, WV. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
