He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ira Chester Whetzel and Fannie Bell Ketterman Whetzel; his wife Iris Marie Malcolm Whetzel; his daughters, Brenda Marie Whetzel Bramsen (Gerald) and Connie Sue Whetzel Shoemaker (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Laci Jai Proietti (Chris), Cody Allan Bramsen (Gina), Laiken Marie Shoemaker and Colton Chester Bramsen; and his great grandchildren, Kenley Marie Evans, Raegan Jai Proietti, Makenna Sue Spencer and Sage Michael Bramsen.
