She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "Moon" Howell; her children, James "Buddy", Kevin, Clarence "Kayo" Jr., Mark, Patrick "Pat", Terry Howell, Sharon Kay Howell and Debra Dingess; her parents, Charles B. Kay and Refonna Haywood Kay; her stepfather Joseph Miller; and her sisters, Helen "Dixie" Dunn and Hattie Jo Randolph.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Howell (Danielle) of Ohley, Rick Howell (Missy) of Shrewsbury, Phillip Howell (Howie) of South Carolina, Diana Howell of Chesapeake, Cindy Miller of Ohio, Sarah Hicks (Steve) of Maryland and Loretta Williams of Indiana; her sister Jenny Clark of Gallipolis, OH.; her close friend Linda Howell Carver; her friend Jeremy "Hook" Hamilton; and her pet Clyde. She is also survived by 24 grandkids, 34 great grandkids and 11 great great grandkids.
