Doris Jean Shrewsbury Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2022, at the age of 92, Doris Jean Shrewsbury of Odd, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. S. Foley and Hallie Foley (Fink); her husband Levi Harmon Shrewsbury, Jr.; her siblings, Hester, Hilda, Noel, Mary and Tom; and her son Sam.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Altis (Shrewsbury) of Daniels, Dan (Phyllis Shrewsbury), Alan (Julie Shrewsbury) and Brenda Melvin (Bill) of Raleigh, NC; her daughter-in-law Terri Shrewsbury (Ellis) of Nashville, TN; and her sister Betty Mills (Foley). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
The family welcomes donations to the Bowers Hospice House in lieu of flowers.
