He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Charlie Andrew and Florence Elkins Keene; and his siblings, Mary Ann Keene, Betty Lou Meadows, Brenda Joan Keene, Ronald Perry Keene and Harley Edward Keene.

He is survived by: his wife Ilene Keene; his brother James Keene; his stepdaughter Sherry Roach; his stepgrandson Ryan Eldridge; and his nephews, James "Andy" Keene and Roger Keene.
