He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Brewster Compton; his children, Paula Compton Blankenship (Randy) of Rock View and James Lonnie Paul Compton (Christy) of Pineville; his brother Larry Gene Compton (Pamela) of Glover; his daughter Trina Marie Compton (Albans) of St; and his grandchildren, Amber, Courtney, Kaylie, Hannah and Katrina. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and countless friends.
