He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Linville and Ida Linville; his wife Ramona Linville; and his siblings, Grover Linville, Barbara Stroupe, Naoma Elkins and Hollene Linville.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Lusk (Sharol), Belinda Lay (John) and Frank Linville (Teresa); his grandchildren, Natasha Cline (BJ), Rishona Jones (Jacob), John David Lay (Perla), Katie Alward (David), Rebecca Linville, Hannah Fleming (Will) and Bethany Lewellen (Jake); his great grandchildren, Cruz Cline, Addison Jones, Gracie Jones, Mabel Sloan Lewellen and Baby Fleming; his close friend Sandra Cobb; and his caregivers, Wanda Carter, Penny Kennedy, Leigha Smith, Teresa Stewart, Karen Sigmon and Teresa Hannah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Evans-Calfee Funeral Services (1081 Cook Pkwy, Oceana, WV 24870). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
