He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Emerson Stewart and Beulah Elkins Stewart; his wife Mona Taylor Stewart; his sister Catherine Short; and his brother-in-law Joe Short.
He is survived by: his son Ralph Stewart (Toni); his grandchildren, Marina Mack (John) and Cody Stewart (Sidney); and his nieces and nephews, Greg Short, Myra Short, Chuck Short (Judy) and Jeanne Short (Sherry White). He is also survived by extended family members; and countless friends.
