He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Davis and Lona Gregory Davis; and his son James Eric Davis. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Davis (Hall); his daughter Gina Davis Tichnell (Warren) of Oceana, WV.; his daughter-in-law Darla Edgell Davis of Jacksonville, FL.; and his siblings, Georgia Davis Smith Hostetler of Charleston, SC, Brenda Davis Bracken of Forest City, NC., Dwight Davis, Harold Davis, Jerry Davis and Helen Davis Hollen. He is also survived by Nineteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
