It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Cottle of Oakvale, West Virginia, born in Columbia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinlan Allen and Bertha Davis Witten; her son Christopher Scott Cottle; and her sister Freya Rebecca Anderson. She is survived by: her husband George Cleon Cottle of Oakvale, WV; her children, Rebecca Cottle (Priscilla Casteel) of Henrico, Kimberly Gatzek (Joe) of Henrico Va, George Witten Cottle (Michelle) of Princeton, WV and Sarra Hill Cottle of Burnsville, NC; and her sister Noel Terry of Hampton Va. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Fairview Baptist Church, in care of Michelle Lucas, 13152 Greenville Rd., Forest Hill, WV 25935.
