She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Haywood and Willie Lee Haywood; her husband Guy Atkins; and her siblings, Virginia Chandler, Carrie Dillon, Lily Mae Jones and Alex Haywood.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wayne Haywood (Eunice) of Princeton and Lisa Diane Brinkley of Princeton.
