He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Kay Brash and Lillian Mary Lindsay Brash; his spouse Willie Sue Brash; his son Kevin; his siblings, Thomas David Brash, Robert Lindsay, Bob and Jean Kay Brash Lavender; and his brothers-in-law, John Alexander and Frank "Bob" Lavender.

He is survived by: his sons, Keith, David Lee Brash (Kim) of Logan, WV and William Brent Brash (Chris) of Fayetteville, WV.; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Broughman, Judy Alexander, Sadie Brash and Walter Alexander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tyree Funeral Home- Oak Hill (999 Jones Ave, Oak Hill, WV 25901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the High Lawn Memorial Park (1435 Main St E, Oak Hill, WV 25901).
