With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willaim Gary Smith Sr. (Oak Hill, West Virginia), who passed away on October 3, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Smith and Leapha Smith; his brothers, Jimmy Don, Bob and Junior; and his grandchild Slayton.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his grandchildren, Noah, Shaunna, Lindsey, Wyatt, Zach, Josh and Kaden; his great grandchildren, Rylann, Alaynna, Leon, Drake and Treyson; his children, Debbie and William Jr.; and his sisters, Connie, Jackie and Norma Jean. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Before the COVID pandemic, Gary could always be found on Friday nights cheering on his beloved Fayetteville Pirates and on Monday mornings having coffee with his many friends discussing the weekend's sports.
