He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Green and Louisa Ellison Green; his wife Judy Darlene Lilly Green; and his siblings, Woodrow, Henry, Clyde and Gene Green.
He is survived by: his children, Walter "Wally" Green of Oak Hill and Sherrie Scarbro; his grandson Hunter Scarbro; and his great grandchild Chase Scarbro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
