He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Toombs and Ryland Toombs; and his siblings, Charles K Toombs and Betty Ann Hiser. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca May Toombs; his son Thomas Dale Toombs Jr.; his grandsons, Thomas Lee of Oak Hill and Markus Anthony Toombs of Oak Hill; his stepsons, Kevin Wayne Fowler and Joseph Lee Fowler (Tina); and his stepgrandchildren, Chris Hanvey of Georgia, Destiny of Georgia and Steven Fowler of Georgia.
