He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl D. King and Gussie King; his wife Betty Thomas King; his siblings, Emily Koger, Leota Greathouse (Sissy) and Ernest C. King; and his granddaughter Cindy Lynn Thomas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Sue Estep of Flowery Branch, GA, Diana Ruth Blake of Ocoee, FL, Carl Edward King (Janet) of Lula, GA and James Robert King (Malyn) of Groveland, FL; his children, Diana Bjelland (Chris), Bobby Thomas (Sherry), Danny Thomas, David King (Andi), Mark King (Klara) and Kimberly King (Jim); and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Summer, Erika, Kyle, Chris, Tyler, Samantha, Courtney and Taylor. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
