He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clinton and Winona May Hall Love; his son Dr. Brian Stephen Love; and his siblings, Earline Treadway, Loraine Minnix, Ruth Veigh and James Love III.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Love; his children, James "Jimmy" Love IV and Christie Love (Judy Fitzgerald); his grandson James Love V; his close friend Mary Nell; his child James'; his grandchildren, Matthew Love (Allison), Robert Love (Amanda), Benjamin Love (Tiffany), Mary Beth Knight (Pete) and Michael Love (Lauren Satyshur); his sister Margaret Ann Painter; and his close friends, Dave Perry, Joe Shelton, William Laird IV and Raymond Frye. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Those planning to attend should heed proper Covid-19 precautions by wearing masks which is mandatory in order to enter the church and maintain social distancing of six feet.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Audrey Love through Fayette Co. National Bank in honor of a memorial bench for Shirley.
