With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherry Anne Murphy (Oak Hill, West Virginia), born in Scarbro, West Virginia, who passed away on July 15, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Rice and Ollie Mae Rice (Coley); her husband James L. Murphy; and her son James E. Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Kelly A. Stafford (Gene) of Harper and Christopher Murphy (Brie) of Robson; her grandchildren, Adaia Murphy, Landon Murphy, James Murphy and Shaelyn Braenovich; her great grandchildren, Tyler Murphy, Olivia Murphy and Jacob Murphy; and her sister Nancy Hunt of Memphis, Tennessee. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
The family requests in lieu of flowers for donations to please be made to the Oak Hill Nazarene Church.
