She was predeceased by: her father Robert Smiley Staton; her great grandchild Victoria Bell; her brother Bobby Staton (Sandy Staton); her mother-in-law Arbutus Canterbury; and her brothers-in-law, Mark, Rob Canterbury and Ricky Farrell.
She is survived by: her former husband David Canterbury Sr.; her children, David Canterbury Jr., Theresa Hill (Heath), Amy Scruggs (Troy), Karen Canterbury, Christi Smith (Jeremy) and Julie Canterbury; her mother Doris Powell Staton; her siblings, Lois Potoeski (Tom), Patsy Farrell and Kenny Staton (Diana); and her sisters-in-law, Connie Johnson (Robert) and Della Jones. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two on the way, several nieces and nephews.
