He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Willard L. Bloomfield and Elizabeth Moore Bloomfield; and his siblings, Leonard Bloomfield and Rosemary Hanson. He is survived by: his sisters, Wanda Tomlinson, Shirley Flick, Darlene Garrett of Hamilton, Jeanette Davidson of Sarasota and Charlene Ayers of Orlando, Florida.; his significant other Audrey Bloomfield (Allred); his children, Angela McGrady of Oak Hill, Russell (Mandy) of Shady Spring and Mark (Amy) of Oak Hill; his grandchildren, Erin McGrady, Derek Bloomfield, Mercedes Bloomfield, Nathan Bloomfield, Bristol Bloomfield and Kendall Bloomfield; and his daughter Angie.

One of Pastor's last desires was to establish a foundation to support Mountain View Christian School, and his children, Angie, Russell, and Mark will establish this in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Rudell Bloomfield Foundation for Christian Education, 107 Rogers Street, Oak Hill, WV 25901.
